Volunteer Opportunities
Joining on work days : No experience required! Typical tasks include infrastructure, planting, weeding, harvesting, bagging produce.

In 2026, we will be starting late winter, early spring work days every other Sun 12-3. Around May 1, we will add every first and third Tuesday 6pm-8pm and eventually every Sun and Tuesday. Self-directed activities

We have a number of self-directed tasks we are looking for help with
1. Picking up our monthly compost and wood chip allotment from Garden Resource Center
2. Every first and third Wednesday morning delivery from the Polish Hill Civic Association to the Jubilee food pantry (across the street). (we need a regular volunteer for this, and a back up volunteer)
2. If you want solo-time in the garden, Cindy can orient you to tasks you can do at your leisure.
Outreach + Volunteer recruitment

Infrastructure - includes fencing, irrigation, and maintaining the shed and gates, building trellises, etc.
We’d love someone who wants to do outreach, fundraising, help get more volunteers. None of us are currently in this mode, so we don’t even know what it would be. We are hoping in 2026 to do paper flyering in Polish Hill…we need help!

If you are less inclined to garden, but have building skills, we are always in need of some infrastructure support.
